John is the founder and President of Upcon Organization. John along with two partners, incorporated the original Upcon firm in 1965 to provide city planning, architectural and engineering consulting services to municipal and private sector clients. In 1982 Upcon expanded its capabilities to include the mortgage industry’s growing need for comprehensive field services. John works closely with clients to design and deliver the scope of necessary services. John is a Certified Construction Inspector, a member and former officer of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) and The Association of Construction Inspectors (ACI).
Jim (J.B.) is in charge of managing the field staff, performing construction draw field inspections and preparing summary reports for clients. He has been with Upcon since 2010. Prior to joining Upcon, Jim had over 12 years of experience managing commercial and retail projects for a national architectural firm. His duties included traveling the U.S. performing field surveys, developing construction plans, coordinating project work with Owners, Landlords, Builders and various municipalities around the country. He was also in charge of the AutoCad programming, support and standards implementation.
He is an Illinois Licensed Home Inspector and is a member of International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNachi) and The Association of Construction Inspectors (ACI).
Jim is the Information Technology Officer and member of the Upcon staff since 1989. He is responsible for the design, development and operation of Upcon’s custom data processing system and manages the Property Preservation Division. With more than 40 years experience identifying, serving and solving customer requirements, Jim is uniquely qualified to work effectively with our clients and nationwide network of field inspectors..
Jennifer has been with Upcon since the late 1970's. She is charge of the daily office operations. She coordinates assignments with the field staff and clients along with organizing and monitoring client invoicing.
Chrille been a member of the Upcon team since 2018. She is in charge of coordinating projects with the field staff and clients. Her responsibilities include receiving, processing and scheduling the inspections requests from our clients. She also submits the final reports and invoices to the client for the inspections. In addition, she assists with the accounting related tasks and is a Certified Notary Public.
